> ” Momu’s newest exhibition illustrates the historic phases of the colour black, with examples from painting, historic costume and contemporary fashion. It also looks more deeply into the textures and the potentials of black in diverse materials, including fur, leather and lace. In addition, the exhibition includes masterpieces by contemporary designers who, like the city of Antwerp, have a special connection to black.
With silhouettes by Belgian designers as well as international couture houses: Ann Demeulemeester, Olivier Theyskens, Dirk Van Saene, Givenchy (Riccardo Tisci), Chanel, Gareth Pugh and more.
The exhibition BLACK. Masters of Black in Fashion & Costume runs from the 25th of March till the 8th of August 2010 in MoMu.”

> Architectural fashion has always been my key inspiration for fashion and for expressing a mood with which I totally identify myself with. The project House of Organza where designer Lyall Hakaraia and stylist Kim Howells have joined forces to create architectural styles using only white organza it´s just a perfect example to express how beautiful is simple geometry . The shots by Mari Sarai will form the basis of the exhibition that is open at Vogue Fabric, 66 Stoke Newington Road, London, N16 7XB.

The Inside Source, new ebay fashion website
> Ebay has launched the website The Inside Source, written by fashion journalists. The aim is to shift the idea that ebay only offers sencond hand things. The syle of the web follows the success model of net-a-porter & similar fashion portals that offer a purchasing experience closer to a fashion magazine with fashion tips and hot topics. E–commerce has proved to be the only rapidly increasing bussiness and still very few actors participate.

“Gilles et dada is a state of mind….applies to everything and yet it is nothing. It is the point where the yes and no and like everything in life, Gilles et Dada is useless. Without pretention, as life should be…and yet still have dreams..”.
